In the late afternoon we drove down to Looe, which is a little coastal village with a harbour and sandy beach which are seperated by a stone pier. We walked through the winding streets full of gift shops selling all the usual seaside items. We stopped for a postcard and then walked to the end of the stone pier.

It's good to have you back! We're off to Devon this summer; it's a toss-up as to whether I love the West Country or the Lake District more (predictable? moi?) but fortunately my hubby agrees so we usually alternate holidays. Can't wait!
Thanks for the link to google earth so I could look at the map. (I love maps and so I'm very intersted.) We are thinking of visiting Cornwall when we go to England this summer. So many ideas, so little time!
