Spring has arrived and with it the promise of warm sunny days, Em is studying for her GCSE's or Secondary school certificates this summer. My stitching mojo wandered off for a few months having been over worked last summer, but it is slowly returning. I have picked my way through a cross stitch heart for a special friend. I have finished off a little owl cushion which I started with intentions of it being a birthday present but it wasn't finished in time. Currently I am working on a cross stitch sampler for Em which we designed together for her 16th Birthday. Not long to go to the Easter Break, I just hope that the good weather holds and yet we desperately need rain. See you soon, Jane

Spring time and Stitching

Hey, Jane!!! Lovely stitching! We've been having really warm weather here. My daughter and I are going to Italy next month (connecting at Heathrow in your fair country) and hope the weather remains as beautiful. You certainly earned it with your difficult winter!
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
The owl is super cute. Was it a chart or a kit.
I love the owl! It's adorable and girly but edgy at the same time. How often do you make stuffed animals? Would you be interested in sharing pictures any of them on Kollabora, the crafting and DIY site? It's not easy to find toys that are both cool and simple enough to be charming, and when I do, I always want all my crafty friends to see them.
